Kind of off topic, need way to record screen for demo (Mac)

I need a way to record my iphone app in action. Anyone know how I could do this? I don't want to do it using my iPad to record it, I want to record it on my mac if something's available...?

If you're running the app in Xcode (or reflecting your iPhone on the Mac), you could simply use Quicktime for the screencast and edit it using iMovie if need be. That's just one of many ways you could go about it! :) Hope that helps. Nicholas

Highly recommend using ReflectorApp.com Buy it quick! :-) It has a built-in video recorder. Essentially, you beam your iPhone / iPad screen to your Mac or WinPC. Reflector captures that beam from the iDevice. Then Reflector shows your iDevice display on the Mac. The Mac can be connected to a Projector for people to see on the big screen. Also, Reflector can video record your iDevice screen actions. Did you buy Reflector yet?! :-) -------- If you need super high quality video capture of your iDevice screen, then buy $200-$300 of equipment as described in this article. http://www.idownloadblog.com/2013/12/06/how-to-record-direct-feed-footage-from-ios-to-a-mac-or-pc/ For most situations, Reflector will suffice at a less-than $15 cost. -- Niraj

I can personally vouch for reflector if that's the route you choose to take (i.e. mirroring/reflecting your application from your iPhone to your mac). :) Nicholas

Also a bundle going with x-mirage, much like Refelector. just beat the average, now a $5,15 and you get 7 apps including x-mirage https://www.paddle.com/bundle/the-productive-mac-bundle/

thanks everyone, I got reflector. For $15, I didn't think I could go wrong - it's really cool.
