Hey guys, waiting on a few plugins to be updated. I'd like to suggest the developers to express their intent, or not, of updating plugins. Lik, list the plugins that will be updated. At this point don't know if the developer will update the plugins and I should wait, or if they won't, and I might as well look for a way around it. Example of plugins I'm waiting on: App Transformer Notepad Feature Thumb Viewer App Rater Email Image Launch Tutorial Pie Chart Just saying it would be good to know if one should wait for an update or not. I do plugins for the apps I build. As I update apps, I'll update plugins. But with respect to a 'release' schedule, I have none. And for the moment, I'm not entertaining one. So the 'safe' answer is not immediately. Maybe not ever. But possibly so, with no set schedule. Cheers! -- Smug

Totally agree with MadRod! We would need a transient page to be informed about which plugins are already upgraded, and which ones will be upgraded and supported in the future! Thanks, Smug, even if you don't give a schedule, now everybody knows you didn't stop maintaining your plugins and there is hope ;-) But for many plugins, we're totally in the dark... App Transformer disappeared from the plugin market and nobody knows if Stobe will ever upgrade it (and even develop an Android version)... I have exactly 109 plugins in my control panel. Today, I can check in the Plugin Market which ones have already been upgraded (they are on top of the list). Tomorrow, when the Plugin Market will be closed, no BT user will know which plugins are OK with BT4. OK, I could check it in the CP of my self-hosted server... but I'm still afraid of jumping to BT4... Even if David says the new files won't mess anything up! So... some official "BT plugins page" with information and news would be quite nice! Cheers Jack

As for Notepad and Image Emailer...I don't have the time, nor the skill, to be honest, to update them. So, I've offered them to Kristen to incorporate as a standard plugin. I haven't heard back about that yet. Mark

As @Kristen has touched upon with the announcement of the suspension of the Plugin Market, in the future there will be a more robust structure to the development process. One aspect of that will obviously be to work more closely with plugin developers by providing Beta versions of any BT updates to ensure as many bugs as possible are ironed out before going live. Hence providing more integrity to system. Another aspect could be more stringent Terms & Conditions on developers that cover 'failure to update'scenarios. This could take the form as: "If a developer has not provided a plugin update by the designated date (maybe 1 week prior to live release), Buzztouch specialists will make required changes to the plugin in order to ensure its integrity. The time cost associated will be deducted from any future revenue of said developers plugins.

@all, I think this is a good topic post for everyone to voice their requests as to what plugins they urgently want updated. Remember even though the sales in Plugin market will be switched off, plugins that are updated will be updated on BT hosted and available for update on Self Hosted. What you can't see is what is going on behind the scenes with regards to what we are going to roll out, it won't be this week or next, we need to make a robust plugin market option. @GoNorthWest, apologies, I though I had replied, yes we will make those plugins part of the core, but not in 4.0.2 we want to make sure that is locked down 100%. Thanks for the offer. @bigPaul, yip, we already have similar things to what you mentioned lined up to manage our developers better and ensure that plugins are always supported and up to date. Html text plugin isn't working I have updated my app and it works ok on Android but iOS its stopped working The error is: Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. Tried saving a few times but plugin seems broken
