Nothing. At all. Windows phones account for 4.2% of the mobile market, which for me personally isn't worth coding. With the time that I'd be investing in getting everything setup for windows devices, I'd never see a return on it. That's just me though, not sure if anyone else on here codes for the windows market, but not that I'm aware of.

In some cases, I have created 'web apps' for blackberry, windows, and anything else besides iOS/Android. That's as far as I've gone to 'be compatible', and it's how I BS my way into saying 'apps for any device'. But I don't bother with them as a technology. Cheers! -- Smug

The kid in the Windows Store in the Mall here, thought Visual Studio had the ability to port the Android version, and output the Windows Phone version. https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/news/vs2015-vs.aspx I don't have a Windows machine, and haven't since 2008.

visual studio is now available for mac but even then you would have to use the c code to write android apps if using visual studio, instead of the standard java language used with android studio https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn275875.aspx

I already have Android versions of my Apps. And selling in the Google and Amazon App stores. I will put some time into Visual Studio Mac this week, to see if it will port Android to Windows App...

Don't bother yet, it is still nascent technology. Check back in a year for it to solidify and get legs. Welcome back, been a while since we've heard from you! :-) -- Niraj

I remember when Warren showed me his Windows phone at Buzzcon (Las Vegas), I was actually amazed at how good it looked and how smooth it ran. Alas, like Ninja said, the market share is so insignificant that there's no reason for anyone to be doing anything there. Yet.

Windows could make a move into the market, but as @Niraj says on checking back in a year is a good bet! I would not bet the farm on it! LA
