Rounded corners on my icons. I'm just using the default menu buttons. AAArrrggHH!!! Time for some circles I guess :-) Seriously took them a week to tell me. Bahahhaha. Ah well - I guess I can implement all those features I thought about during the week while I was waiting.

And I guess as a problem to fix it's an easy one - but still - worth knowing I guess

Sure - http://hornsbyberowraeagles.com/images/Screenshot_1.png I was just trying to comply with "make it look like ios7" I think I'll go entirley square and unrounded, and maybe change the colours on facebook and twitter (though they haven't said that was a problem, and for me that was more about keeping the interface easy to understand)

Had that a while ago with an app @autopilot. Bit of a pain. I submitted with the corners rounded into full circles then switched back to iOS like icons that I had included in project once it was live.

Strange, about to submit an app to the app store and my menu icons are the same shape as yours. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1j2uuy9v5agl6x3/Home.png Is the rejection because your screen layout and its buttons are 12 icons on a full screen, is there a tab bar on the bottom? on a flat background, it would seem like it's mimicking the iOS main interface. @MacApple I thought the new mac icons have more elliptical corners and not rounded. Did you have to resubmit a new build when switching back.

It's funny how things can be fine from one reviewer and rejected by another reviewer. I'd LOVE to know a little more about apple's review queue process... like when rejected and resubmitted, does the resubmission go to the same reviewer, or simply placed back in the queue for a random rep to review? I'm guessing it's placed back in the queue, but has flagged notes for the new reviewer to check to see if the corrections were made for the rejected reason(s). I'd love to see what the internal review notes are like as well... like above and beyond the reasons for rejection they give in email, do they have internal notes as well like "in particular, look at the icons listed on xyz menu as well, not mentioned in his rejection reasons, plus I don't know if screen xyz complies with our policy, if not changed with next submission, it might be something we need to check"... etc.

I asked if it was just the rounded corners and got this ... "Hello, Thank you for your response. We have taken a second look at your app and upon further review its not appropriate to have icons are similar or mimic the native iOS user interface for this particular feature does not fall in compliance with the 8.3 guidelines. In order to be in compliance with the App Store Review Guideline, it would be appropriate to resolve all guideline issues and resubmit through iTunes Connect."

So I guess having icons that look like icons is the problem. :-) hahahahah Awesome.

Promising, I showed my friend that has a App Development company in NY that does Apps for musicians like Taylor Swift looked at our Super Bowl Menu buttons and told me that ours is different because the text is embedded into the round square ui button where as the iPhone and iPad Main Screens have the button and text beneath, thus mimicking their interface. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1j2uuy9v5agl6x3/Home.png
