Hey all, Was wondering if any had successfully integrated touch ID into any of their apps that they have completed or are busy with? From the distance it doesn't look like it is difficult, but would be interested to hear from those that have bothered to read the data or try it already. Setting up the fingerprint reader part is easy. The tougher part is setting up a pin. You have to have to have a way for the customer to use a pin to bypass the fingerprint in case it won't read for them. Apple doesn't give you access to the device pin, so your customer would have to come up with another pin for that particular app. Overall it shouldn't be to hard implement. Would make a good plugin.
