Testing iOS Apps For Clients!

Hi I recently came across a site that offers an online iOS simulator for developers to upload a iPhone Simulator .app file, which then you can share with a client who want an iOS app but don't have an iPhone. Problem I have is, the file doesn't work; I then contacted the company and they replied: Hi Las, Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry you're having issues with your app. It seems you are using Buzztouch to create the app? It looks like they compile the app in a particular way that isn't quite working with our system. It might be best to contact them on how to solve the issue? I can reach out to them on your behalf if you'd like? Thanks, Ed The company is called https://kickfolio.com/ Has anyone used this company? if so, were you successful in getting BT apps working on their simulator? If so please advise, as I'm struggling and I would really like to use the simulator, unless there is a better solution that will work with BT apps.

Hey there, Kittsy is right, I have it working, check out www.simplyapps.com.au and go to portfolio page and select Live Demo for the app you want to have a look at. Need I say, ALL MY APPS ARE MADE VIA BT.... It was a struggle for me to find the .app file, I eventually went into Finder, selected the download folder and searched for appname.app and copied the latest file saved it to desktop, compressed it an uploaded it. PM of you are still struggling we could google+ hangout to check it out. Kristen

Hi Kaybee are you using this company for your online simulator? How did you get it to work as my .app file won't work.

I love how they blame buzztouch for the way that Xcode compiles an app! For sure buzztouch provides instructions to Xcode, but since Apple accepts BT apps, we're obviously doing something right! Mark

I've used them in the past too, although most of my clients don't require a full demo ahead of time. Obviously, the rep you spoke with doesn't have a clue about Buzztouch - perhaps not much about Kickfolio either.
