Social1 (MY NEW APP) just approved!

First off, id like to give a big thanks to the buzztouch team in allowing me to create apps for everyone to download! Couldn't be happier with what they have done. My new app is called Social1 and it's basically an app that targets the "fandom" for social media stars (Nash Grier, Cameron Dallas, carter Reynolds, etc.) If you guys could take a look a look at it, that would be awesome! Any offers of advice are also welcomed! Link: https://appsto.re/ca/e8mm0.i

Did you have any issues designing or dealing with the iOS 7 menu actions - where the user is supposed to swipe backwards to go back a menu level? Tap to go forward, swipe the top of the screen to go back. Did you get any feedback from the reviewal process about that? Did you just go with the swipe to go back, and/or did you put in any other menu or plugin for the user to tap to go back? I'm thinking that because you were the most recent success story, you might have a tale to tell. If not, I will post this separately - as soon as you reply. Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for the comments! Within the app, you could either swipe to go back to a previous screen or tap the top left corner button to go back. Hope this helps. If not, I could try explaining better! As for any issues, I've not had any.

On the iOS App that I built, which otherwise works on my iPhone 5S, there is no top left corner button to tap. Is there supposed to be - by default? Did I leave something off when building it on BuzzTouch, or am I supposed to add it by a line of code in my config.txt file?

My buttons have been there by default.

OK, I just tapped the upper left corner, and it went BACK! Although, the top quarter-inch (vertically) of the screen is all black, so I just tapped the upper left corner of the black bar row that exists at the top! Kind of like looking and hoping for a light switch in a dark room. Perhaps that black bar is not supposed to be black. What color is yours? Is your button of another color?

Typically the 'Home' screen will show a refresh button, but this only applies if the app is an online app, with a valid refresh url. That doesn't mean it has to be Buzztouch, but it has to be there with a valid configuration file. Otherwise, any screen should have a 'back' button to return to the previous screen. If your app is missing a 'refresh' or 'back' button, I suspect your configuration has been altered. That may be the way you want it. If not, you can get a fresh copy of your config from your app's control panel. Just paste it over your existing config file. Run it through jsonlint if you want it to be formatted and easily readable. Cheers! -- Smug

You can change the colour/transparency of the nav bar. I have mine set to transparent to keep up with the current iOS 7 theme. It would probably help to change the colour of your nav bar.
