Brazil 2014 Football - we have an app for that!

As a kid, I used to like these pull out wall charts for big sporting events. I'd put them on my wall and I'd fill them in after the games. I don't do wall charts any more, but a week or so ago, I thought it might be cool to have the equivalent on my phone instead. So, with the 2014 world cup in Brazil beckoning, I thought I'd see what I could come up with. I just wanted to do the basics, (what's the next game, tables, what's the weather). On Google Play - http://bit.ly/1hKg13T Please let me know if there are any issues on your phone or tablet, I had a bit of trouble with 3.0 on my last app. Thanks, Alan

Personally - love it, the layout is sweet and its simple as. Really wish you would put some plugins up for us novices, the scrolling bar at the top is classy, as is the countdown element - both things I would love to have in my kit bag but haven't got the expertise yet :( Rob.

Is your top nav bar done with context menus?

Thanks Rob, appreciate the feedback. I've never written a plugin, but I can go a fair way with html, javascript and css!. The countdown is done with javascript, something I found somewhere on the interweb and adapted for this. The top nav bar uses the context menu together with a std tabbed layout. PS, not sure what you mean about the scrolling bar?

Well it looks good :) I was referring to the scrollable tab bar at the top of the screen, "calendar" "groups" "map" and "Stadium Weather" - didn't know how that could be done! Is it a standard part of our control panel as I've only used the various menu plugins available?

Cheers. That must be the tabbed layout; standard buzztouch that one, I didn't do anything except use it, but it doesn't scroll on my Tesco Hudl!

I'd like it to be England, then Netherlands, not sure if it will be Spain as I'm not convinced they travel too well. Brazil and Germany should be up there, maybe dark horse is Belgium in group H? Keep the app on to see how it all goes lol.
