Few months ago i was using selhosted and created an app with it $ uploaded it to android market,wasnt workig fine so cancelled my hosting and switch to bt hosted,now the app has 44403 downloads.anyway i can update the app or i can get the app back in my account.i think its impossible but still.@Susan,@stephen,@david.help P.S i lost the key. If i create an app with the same package name in bt and do something..Plzhelp ;(

Hey,if you create the app in you self hosted, as long as you use the same bundle name, you can then update it easily and have it point to your new self hosted panel. But you'll have to create the app again in self hosted.

Wait leme clear things up..I create an android app in selfhosting on one server from hostgator later hosting ended i cancelled my buzztouch account created a new account and then i came back to bthosted and didnt create the app,now i see it has many downloads,want toupdate the app?

The other account was with a friend we had a fight and canceeld the paid account but the free version of it is still on buzztouch

As long as the adroid or apple id account is the same, you can update it anywhere. Self hosted, buzz touch website, my account, your account. It doesn't matter. For you to be able to update what matters is the account you used to put it in the android market. Thats the account that will let you update. Miguel

No. The Best way to have control of your app is to update the app in Google play with a new package made in your new control panel. To update the existe app withiout send a new package to the android market, you have to have acess to the control panel where it was made, because the config file is reading from that specific control panel. To have the config file read from a new control panel you have to send an update to the market. Make sense? Miguel

Hey @SuVinay Pawa, Would be impossible to update it without the keystore. That is the way Google play can identify the owner. Has nothing to do with @buzztouch because you created the keystore when you signed the App for release. LA
