Interactive Quiz - background image problems

Hi. I am developing my first app using the interactive quiz plug-in for Android. I would like to use a background image sitting behind the questions as they appear. I assumed it would be as simple as adding a background image to the BT control panel in the Screens / Actions section. But for some reason the app won't pick up the image. I have tried the following: a) Selecting the image from a local folder (including adding it to the project) b) image from a Dropbox URL c) clearing the background colour in both 'themes' and 'screens' d) empty cache, clean and refresh etc. e) checked the image size is not too large (it is currently 320 x 470px, 102kb for small devices) I am a complete newb at this, but have read as many forum answers as I can, but no joy in getting the background image to work. Any further advice? Text from BT_config.txt page for my attempt to get image from Dropbox for reference. "backgroundImageURLSmallDevice":"https://www.dropbox.com/s/y882v6h2jlky1wk/amp_red_small.png", "backgroundImageURLLargeDevice":"https://www.dropbox.com/s/9b8ko52na13u224/amp_red_large.png", "backgroundImageScale":"fullScreen",

You could try setting the screen background color to clear.

I'm not too familiar with Android, but I think there is a specific folder in the project that the images need to be in...I believe it is the res/drawable folder

Thanks for your responses but I have tried both with no joy. Any further ideas?

@krompa, I found this doesn't work for BT Android 2.0, but is OK for BT 3.0 and for IOS. Did you ever find a BT 2.0 fix? Alan

Hi Alan. Blast from the past. My quiz doesn't contain any background images, so I'm guessing I gave up. Having seen your BT vers 3.0 quiz with background images, I did get a bit envious. Good luck. Note nad's advanced quiz is now available for android. Would this help?

Hi @Krompa. I have everything else in the quiz I want now working with the core BT quiz, but I'll look into NAD's quiz. Theis all stems from the fact that I've gone with BT 2.0 for Android for my app (where the backgrounds don't show). I can't get the Android BT 3.0 version of my app to work on several Samsung devices. Longer term I'd like to move it to BT 3.0.
