Walms Code is Art Posts: 235 Reg: Aug 24, 2011 Derby 3,300	confirm \| cancel 03/26/13 05:06 AM (11 years ago) Google Maps and Android AVD I have added both google map debug and release API's to my strings.xml file. Opening the maps plugin in the AVD simulator and all I get is blank tiles, no error, no pins, nothing! Should the AVD be able to display map information or do I need to load the apk onto a test device in order to test map functionality? But it worked fine on my device. Just test the app on real android device and it should work perfect. Comments In my experience the emulator never worked for me in running maps.
