I was informed today that I was one post away from my 7000th, which completely amazes me. I very distinctly remember back when my son, Alex, was looking over my shoulder as I wrote my 1000th post. That was about 990 more posts than I had ever done on the Internet prior to that, starting back from around 1995. I thought that was crazy at the time, but it seems even more crazy that it was 6000 posts ago! I started thinking today...what can I say to mark this memorable occasion. The words came quickly to mind: Thank You, Buzztouch! Very few things have impacted my life as much as Buzztouch has. Not only have I learned to create apps that have proven to be useful to many people, I've helped hundreds of others do the same thing. And that feels really good. Probably more importantly, though, is the friendships I've made since I registered on June 24th, 2011. Many of them are virtual, but, to be honest, are stronger than some of my physical ones. But I've also become close friends with many of you, and have literally traveled hundreds of miles to meet with you in person. I never would have envisioned that 7000 posts ago! The community here is absolutely unreal in their warmth, dedication, selflessness, and true concern for others. From David Book, the founder, to his business partner Stephen and the rest of the Buzztouch leadership team, to the first time user who's question I'm literally answering for the 100th time...you are all the best, and I'm absolutely honored to call you friends. 7000 posts seems like an amazing accomplishment, but it's truly been just a long conversation among friends. I'm looking forward to continuing the conversation for many, many years! Thank you all for being part of this unique accomplishment! Respectfully, Mark

You have set the bar by which BT'ers are gauged. None of us qualify, but it's a lot of fun trying :) I don't think of Buzztouch without thinking of you. Your tutorials and posts have been the single source of so much information, for myself as well as others. Half of the posts that I respond to usually include a link to one of your documents or videos as an example or a solution. An old colleague of mine once said "the Book of 'by the way' is so much larger than the actual manual". You my friend, are lead author in the Buzztouch book of 'by the way'. Thank you Mark. You have inspired and guided many of the folks that have visited the forum. Your writing and teaching style tempered by a patience that others have not demonstrated makes you a Buzz Treasure. The Buzztouch Community is what it is today because of your 7000 posts and countless Guides and How To contributions, I note that not a single one was $20 for non-members and $5 for members. It is easy to be excited and generous about something if it is a revenue stream. I look forward to the next 7000 Helping Hands, Tips, Support and friendship you post. Mike
