The Best Of...

For those that might be interested, Apple are now requiring Eula agreements for those wishing to allow users editable content. This app was first rejected because users could upload images to a gallery, something a lot of us have done for a long time without issue. They said it needed a Eula, that images should have a way of being reported for content and a way of banning offending users! So, the work around.. Have the images come to you for moderation, then add them to the app yourself. I set up a Eula by making the send image screen with a custom button plugin. One button 'view' takes you to a .pdf reader plugin where the Eula sits. The other button is 'agree' and this takes you to the email plugin screen. For anyone interested take a look https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/the-best-of-bitstrips/id763658420?mt=8 Cheers!

This is something I had to add to my Woodstock app. I didn't make it lengthy, but it was short and concise. This way, I can be assured that my users are likely to read it.

Nice to know. Because Scringo allows users to signin with twitter or facebook, Do you think any app with Scringo world need this? Also does the Eula need to appear every time a user adds content?

No idea, sorry. No, they don't have to view it every time but they have to agree every time.

I couldn't tell from the 2 screen shots, did you also set up a way for people to report content? And does every image come to you first and you have to manually add them to the app yourself? Thanks Alex

Don't need a function to report an image as they come directly to me. Yes, I have to manually add them but that's no issue, I just email them to the flickr account. I've added some screenshots to show what I did... https://www.dropbox.com/s/paevg1z5ykvtn3y/Photo%2013-12-2013%2020%2009%2057.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/oc4n6xtndojoqov/Photo%2013-12-2013%2020%2010%2005.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/ji2ch543i02uoa7/Photo%2013-12-2013%2020%2010%2009.png

The last one shows the screen that is displayed once pressed 'agree'.
