Useful image compressor

If you're going to host your images on your app, as in saved in Xcode, you will want to compress the images. This is especially important if you plan to be using PNG files. My last app update increased my app size from 18MB to 44MB. This was because I'd forgotten to compress the file sizes, so my simple app became a huge size. Anyway, I've found this handy little piece of software for macs. It compresses all types of images: jpg, png, gif... http://imageoptim.com I've found it handy, because it only reduces the file size to the point where your quality doesn't change. I find there are reductions of about 10% in size.

The one that GoNorthWest is actually quite a bit better, as it turns out. I just tried it for my new PNG files and it decreased the file size a lot more.
