To be honest, that error could be many things; if you wish a more detailed answer, you'll have to provide more details :) That said, usually one of the things that people forget starting out is how to configure the Google Play Services, which play a major part in getting rid of a lot of the initial errors. I wrote a tutorial on it that is located here: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/GPSRefBT.pdf If you haven't done that first, you'll find it will go a long way in fixing up your errors.
