android and html

hi guys, can someone point me in the right direction, on my android ios version the html docs are working great as when you drag them over into xcode the files with the images for the html, you press the button when dragging to associate the images in that file to the corresponding .htm file, but you dont have that option in eclipse, how do i make the .htm files associate themselves with the images.as there is no option when dragging files into eclipse cheers

In android, the images will need to be in the same directory as the html file. At least, that has been my experience. Even if you have 'myimage.png' in res/drawable, you'll need to add a copy in the BT_Docs with the html document. Cheers! -- Smug

oh and when you put them in docs, can they be in folder format or just put the images themselves in the docs.

I'm pretty sure you can put them in folder format, but it would be worth experimenting just to be sure. And, for html associated images, they don't need to be in both folders...just the docs folder. Mark

I agree with Mark, I used folders for html images, it works fine. If the html works outside eclipse, it should be ok inside eclipse. Which plugin are you using to view the html? Alan

He Sean, the reason I ask is that on Android HTML Doc is almost useless. HTML Pro is pretty good across most things, Custom HTML / Text is OK but I prefer to avoid it unles I need to be editing the content from the control panel. I find the best plugin on Android for displaying HTML is Custom URL, especially if you are using CSS and JavaScript.
