Can't install Eclipse

I get an error saying A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK) must be available in order to run Eclipse. No Java virtual machine was found. I'm on a Windows 7 64bit laptop. Any thoughts?

Found my solution. I had to install the JDK 7 Update 64bit. https://jdk7.java.net/download.html I have a lot to learn.

Stop by the 'How To' section of the website; GoNorthWest has a slew of great videos on getting Eclipse setup in just about every environment possible. Granted you've got yours installed (Great Job!) but it never hurts to hear what Mark has to say. And there's a few other 'how to' docs you might be interested in. Otherwise, Welcome to Buzztouch! Hope you find what you need; for those times when you don't, there's the forums! Cheers! -- Smug

Hi nds Just to let you know Eclipse download is not working correctly at the moment so if you have started to use it and are hitting brick walls this is why. Richard Am about to post this as new topic - although it won't be news as this is the 6th time in around 4 months I have had to start from scratch.
