HTML files not woking in Android

stevek Aspiring developer Posts: 808 Reg: Dec 24, 2011 great neck 8,080	confirm \| cancel 08/03/14 10:14 AM (10 years ago) HTML files not woking in Android Have my html files in assets >BT_Docs but when they come up on the simulator or in an actual device all I get is Open Document on top, and instead of the HTML document displayed, just the Globe With the HTML initials below it. Funny thing is if I go to the file in the document tree in Package Explorer and double click it shows up perfectly in the window that opens. Yet on the device, nothing. Must be something simple I'm forgetting. Please help. Thanks.
