New to Buzz - dragging folders? Missing plugin?

When I created an app for Xcode and downloaded it, i was under the impression that we were supposed to drag some folders(5 of them) from the download to the Xcode program. when I do that, the build fails. If I redo everything and do not drag them, the build works, but the iOS simulator shaow a message of "Plug in not found?" " Missing Plugin: The view controller for this plugin was not compiled in the Xcode project. What can I do to fix this? Thanks for your help.

Adam, Thanks for the info. I tried opening the Xcode and adding in just the BT_Plugins and BT_Images as you suggested. No luck. Build failed again. So, I tried just starting over with a Simple App and it seems to have worked. Maybe I should just go with the new one and edit the other content into it? Thanks for the quick reply. -danman

There should be an instructions.pdf file in the project that will help you out too. Adam

Yeah. I thought so, too, after watching all of the intro videos. But, no instructions are in either of the downloads. :(

Send me a screenshot of the issue. Did you drag the BT_Plugins and BT_Images into your new project? Adam

Hi Only just seen this. In the top menu of this website, there is a item called How-To's. Mine are at the bottom left in the iOS category. Find the ones submitted by me. Thanks Ed

Well, this just sucks. I have created the 3 maximum apps. I followed the instructions exactly from the Buzz University (play video, pause while I copy). I can download what he showed me and it works fine. but, when I go back to make changes to the app, it downloads and comes up fine in Xcode, but the simulator cannot find the plugins. I gotta be doing something wrong, but what?

Update: When i created the newest app, added the BT_Plugins and ran it in the Xcode failed. I removed the plugins and the build succeeded. Of course, the simulator won't run because plugin not found. Thoughts?

Can you send us a screenshot of your Xcode? And when you download the source code, are you selecting necessary plugins? Take a look here... I guess you are adding screens that you didn't originally include when downloading? https://www.dropbox.com/s/elhn8mbjejmqy10/Screen%20Shot%202014-08-04%20at%2017.07.26.png

Can you expand the BT_Plugins folder for me and screenshot it? You can screenshot a certain area by doing CMD + Shift + 4

Right I think I see the problem. When you download the source code, it downloads the currently used plugins. All you had active was the splash screen at the time, so it doesn't know how to process any other screens because it is missing the code. Please redownload the ZIP file from your BT Control Panel. If you download it with the screens, it will include the source code for the plugins. These do not download on refresh. Expand the new folder and you'll see what I mean. Thanks Ed

And when you refresh the page straight after posting, it will resubmit the post. Make sure to navigate away from the page first before refreshing. Look above if you missed it.

Hmmm... I did as you said and went back to the Buzztouch site and downloaded it again. Moved over the four folders (docs, images, plugins and video) and it does the same thing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Thanks for trying to help. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/cpoxmyfz8ws3mhl/Screen%20Shot%202014-08-04%20at%2011.30.24%20PM.png (thanks for the tip on navigating away before refreshing, too)!

Unfortunately, you can't just move the folders. You have to link them by drag-n-drop into the BT_Plugins folder in the Xcode screen, not Finder. Or open the new Xcodeproj file. If you look in the BT_Plugins dropdown in that screenshot, it is still only showing splash plugin, not the ones you've integrated...

In fact actually, can you tell me what screens you have in your app and what you do when downloading (screenshots?)
