In eclipse when I put a image in the drawables folder such as "new_Pic-1.png", it throws an error saying it can to only use capital or lowercase letter,numbers,dashes and underscores. Im wondering why the default bt images dont throw these errors.I can only use all lowercase letters to get it to not throw an error(even when doing a project clean,etc). Does anyone know why it does this? Not a big deal, Im just curious...

If you mean like this "cool_image.png", Ive tried that but still get the same error. I never really use those extra characters, at first I tried making my names like this "coolPic.png", then I noticed the error, then I tried all of the suggestions but only lowercase letters worked. Some others mentioned it as well that they got the error. I wonder if we messed with settings somewhere, somehow. It just bugs me that the bt pics can do that and my images cant lol.

Yeah that's strange. I also try to stay away from numbers unless I spell them out. Android/Eclispe can be picky and don't like the camel hump either. Did you just try like myimage with no characters etc? LA

Yes using all lowercase letters is the only way I can get them to work

Strange. I just started a new project and haven't had that problem. Try deleting the project? And try again

Thanks I tried again and got the same thing. I noticed that the bt images are lowercase.Maybe I just need to restart eclipse. Ive had issue's in the past with the "_" used in images and ended up having to remove them completely - using only lower case letters!

I restarted my computer and it did the trick!
