Hello everyone. I just took a look at my account page here at BT. I'm self hosted with 4 or 5 apps. My account page says I'm paid up till July which is correct. When I look in the upper right corner, it says- Current Account: $162/mo. Just wondering if : -This is what we low volume (current) self hosted members are going to have to pay to stay self hosted -If so, when are we going to have to start paying it? -If we have to migrate back to BT hosted to qualify for $15/mo, can we use an app duplicator to migrate back or do we have to manually build an identical app? (Several hundred screens for at least 2 apps in my case) I don't mind going back to BT hosted but it will be quite a burden if I can't use an app duplicator. Thanks in advance Dave

With several hundred screens per app, perhaps the app should be driven by a database instead? The JSON can be generated by the PHP that queries the database. That will make your apps be portable between hosts. Just a thought ... -- Niraj

Hey Niraj, You are right. Now that I'm a little more "experienced" I should give it a try. I made these apps with HTML screens pointing to my individual food menus on my server. I just update the menus on my server and it automatically loads on the app when called. Thanks Dave

If you're going to use LoadScreenObject from a Database, a lot of scripts and logistics are already done. Just to be clear, IGNORE the $162/month, membership is $15 per month for 15 apps in BT hosted. Other account upgrades will be available at the end of this month. No decision on Self hosted including pricing has been made public.
