Missing plugin?

I am trying to add Facebook to my app (android) by using the Custom URL plugin. When I tap the menu button it goes to a blank page with message "Missing Plugin: The android class file for this screen was not compiled in the project". I have looked in the src folders and sure enough the BT_screen_customURL.java file is missing. Anyone got a clue as to why? And what can I do about it?

Usually I can re download the project from buzztouch to take care of that issue

Thanks CM just tried that and the class folder is still not there so the same message is coming up. I had it working on a test app yesterday - weird.

that is weird. You did the prepare project and then re downloaded? I shouldve mentioned that earlier. When that happens I refresh the screen and do that process over. Maybe a couple more times will do the trick.besides that Im lost as to what it could be

:) I tried copying the missing class file from the demo one but could not get it to work. So I deleted it again and off the app completely then reloaded and third time was the charmer. Now, if I could only get the PDF's to open I could send the whole thing to a friend to test.

That is indeed odd. And usually following chris' suggestions, it 'should' have fixed it up. Last Resort: Download the plugin manually, and manually 'add' it to your project, by dragging the 'java' file into your src directory, and xml file into your res/layout directory (remember that a dialog box should popup asking you to 'copy' the files into your project). You'll still need to edit the package name, and any appDelegate calls in the code. cumbersome, but workable. If you want to hang on for a day or so, I'm about ready to release an android PDF plugin that will open the document from within the app... It'll be about $7 when I'm done. Cheers! -- Smug

I find the whole android/eclipse odd - what works on a test app with just one or two items on a menu gets completely screwed up when I try to add it to a menu with just 7 items. This current download of Eclipse - version 4.2.1 (with purple sphere seems to work differently than ADT version (green sphere with the brackets) I downloaded (and deleted) several weeks ago. Please don't tell me that this is why I am having the PDF problem.

I have 4.2.1, along with whatever else the ADT package gave me... different icons for different stuff, I guess... I doubt that's why you're having a PDF problem. Have you tried a PDF off the web vs bundled locally? Any difference in response? Cheers! -- Smug

Hey Smug I just tried another PDF as suggested. Nothing changed. So waiting on email from genymotion support guy. I sent the emulator log and some screen shots to him yesterday.
