New plugin on market to allow you to record and email a video directly from your app. You can set the MAX LENGTH of the video, the NAME of the video and specify the RECIPIENT as well as a CC and BCC RECIPIENT(s) and the EMAIL BODY TEXT. Videos are converted and emailed in .mov format to the recipient. Great for instructors or could be used for contests. I built this for another developer so they could use it to collect video auditions from potential contestants. This is similar and also inspired by the AllState "QuickFoto" claim option you can see in ther app, except this works with videos. Thanks guys. This one is all about convenience. Exploiting that VideoMaximumDuration feature of iOS was the best part of the code/plugin. Had no idea that could be set, but the xcode hint exposed that setting to me. I'm also using this plugin for a general contractor for a 'quick estimate' feature. I like I like!! I don't need it now but when the time comes I know what to search for. I thought before reading your last post of how you used it within a general contractor app, why would a user not use the built in video. But within that type of app it makes a lot of sense! Sweet :)

I've got a use for it; My friend Duane's real estate app... Sometimes (actually, a LOT of times) the military husband or wife can't be there for the showing... this can easily allow them to use the app to video the potential place, and get concensus from all concerned. I can think of many useful (and a few not so useful) ways for this plugin to be included. :) Cheers! -- Smug
