Custom URL plugin and Android 4.4

I am using the “Custom URL” plugin in one of my tabs that loads a WordPress page powered by wptouch theme. Since android 4.4 update rolled out, the page is not showing correctly in some devices (see the images below): https://www.dropbox.com/s/c6ab6wssi7oct0i/before.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/hy61iyx4v1dcfrt/after.png The page loads correctly with the stock browser but not inside the app with the custom url plugin. Adding user agents to wptouch didn’t work. Is this a problem with the new google webview? Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks

Looks like it is not picking up the CSS

My understanding is that android webviews are not as comprehensive as the android browser. I don't know exactly why it happens, but I have seen this the past. My suspicion is that more complicated websites such as twitter do not work in a webview, but the simpler sites are OK. There are android tweaks available, I think Buzztouch may already be tweaked though. Try looking at stackoverflow.com, I have seen similar questions there.

Thanks Alan for the info. A workaround for the problem is to change the mobile theme.
