The whole screen is the colour of the background that I have selected. How can I have my text show up there? Thanks so much. Usually we use a graphic of some sort. When the splash screen does it's thing, it goes to the home screen which shows the nav bar. Lately though, the splash screen hasn't been totally functioning properly with BT 3.0 and iOS 7. Posts: 6316 Reg: Nov 07, 2012 Tamuning, GU 81,410	06/26/14 07:07 AM (10 years ago) Calypso is correct; the NavBar (and subsequently any modification thereof) will not be displayed with the splash screen. You could 'put' one as part of the graphic, if you wanted... But like many, these days I eschew using a splash screen, and use my app background as a 'splash' replacement of sorts...
