BT problem with Android 4.4!

Thx to WolfTim and some others I found out that BT seems to have problem with devices that run Android 4.4 like 4.4.2 and 4.4.3. Tested on one of my apps in the app store in this thread: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?fid=DADE4728FB1A8A4EED40268&tid=DADE4728FB1A8A4EED40268 Really silly as it seems there is a black background added to some (yes not all) HTML Screens and the Custom URL plugin... Should be a white background as it is black font. Hope somebody has a solution for this.

This probably has to do with the 'new' android webview. https://developer.android.com/guide/webapps/migrating.html Haven't played with it yet so I don't have a solution but this should put you on the right track.

puuh, thx Nad, that is probably it yes, but actually no real clue how to solve this. Always a trial and error guy but as I don't have a device to test on and simulators will not do the trick, I am kinda stuck. Really hope one of our code ninjas here can help out.

I don't have a 4.4 device, but can't you set the color of your background and your text in your webpage so that it doesn't go to the new default for 4.4?

Hi LeonG I don't have a solution, but FYI there is a remote test lab here for the latest Samsung devices: http://developer.samsung.com/remotetestlab/rtlDeviceList.action# Free sign up and then you get a certain number of free testing credits.

Thx to you all, setting the bgcolor directly in the HTML did the trick. Silly that I didn't think of that myself, you guys are awesome!
