Just had a "Flappy bird clone" plugin based app rejected by Apple because of: ---- 10.1 We found that your app does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as required by the App Store Review Guidelines. Specifically we found instances where the pipes or other UI elements were out of the viewable area. You probably should have reskinned it little. A direct clone won't get an easy approval

Also theres an article I read that said clones of that game that are using "flappy" in the title are getting pulled from google play Or rejected from Apple

Apple hate this type of thing, sad but true. Reviewers see something like a straight clone and it ain't getting in. Add the plugin as a bonus screen for an app. A direct clone app has no chance. In fact they probably saw a dozen x 10 of them today alone. Think of it as a compliment feature as opposed to the main feature and you may be OK. Keep working.

Apple is very inconsistent as usual...I just got my own flappy clone into the store a couple days ago - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flappy-hamuketsu/id885246717?ls=1&mt=8 - mine is mostly re-skinned, but according to that article it still should have been rejected just for having flappy in the name One interesting thing though - the reviewer deleted 80% of my keywords without even telling me. Words like "flappy", "pet", "zoo", etc...all deleted
