Would like to have the equivalent of Menu Advanced with video in place of the image header, so figured Ultimate Screen Creator (USC) would be the way. (Unless Menu Advanced could be modded.) Figured I would ask some Questions prior to creating test video: a) What format video can we load with USC into Video element? b) Can the video be local rather than URL? If it did need to load from URL, in order to have an image in the header area prior to video loaded and running is the following possible: 1) Have an image equal to the first frame in front of the video (yes) 2) Hide the image on click, and start the video playing (after loaded) Thanks

EDITED: (In case anyone else was wondering) Apple documentation for MPMoviePlayerController answered the Supported Formats question, and looks like only via URL. This class plays any movie or audio file supported in iOS. This includes both streamed content and fixed-length files. For movie files, this typically means files with the extensions .mov, .mp4, .mpv, and .3gp and using one of the following compression standards: H.264 Baseline Profile Level 3.0 video, up to 640 x 480 at 30 fps. Made a 14 second mp4 (320x176) that is only 1.3mb. With autoplay off I could mod code to not show the play button. (or just use autoplay) However need to store on server as quick test for debug with dropbox was a nogo...
