It's been a few months but another tutorial has been added to www.kittsy.co.uk. http://kittsy.co.uk/change-background-image-based-on-orientation/ Inspired by Sherry's earlier post. A few lines of code will let you have a different image for landscape or portrait, on iPhone or iPad. You will have to mod some core files, it's done in my style and is probably a lot longer than it needs to be enjoy. You witnessed first hand that beer drives the machine. I'm out tonight to celebrate with the Blue Moons Ian@Buzztouch introduced me too. That is not difficult at all, only that you would have to hardcode an array of images and loop through.

Thanks Kitts' I second Niraj's request. animationImageView does a great job rotating through background images, but there seems to be no "crossDessolve" or "fade" or "other" transitions to work with.
