Hey guys, I know this has been discussed before (about a year ago) on the forums, but just wanted to see if anyone has found anything since. I've been tasked with making an app for a physical business - a hair salon chain- and am look at ways in which a loyalty system can be setup. Do you guys have any suggestions? Cheers.

@javoo I have made some custom stuff for people. QR code scanning with week limiters. Scan 5 times displays voucher code. Another way would be to have the shop enter a passcode into the app when it is passed to them again this would recognize how many times it has been inputted. I made both look like a bingo card http://youtu.be/RAPmQbKIGVg The reason I do it custom is because everyone wants something different to work that's why I never released a qr code plugin all them years ago @trouty the database plugin is a template for location reviews and information, although to add a voucher code if a review would be submitted could be be a nice option. @Niraj how exactly would that work with the social plugins, if it's for loyalty how would the user shop or service track it maybe the hash tag for twitter but not for face book as it doesn't use open graph.

The scratch ticket plugin adds some novelty to getting a discount. You could combine that with a qr code reader in the app. The customer could read the qr code at check out. This would take them to a hidden scratch ticket plugin. And under the scratcher is some sort of coupon. You can see this sort of thing inside the front flip app.

Adding onto that scratch idea from NadTheVlad: The QR code to be scanned would be of type "URL". however, it would be a custom URL that points right back to the App and specifies a particular Screen Nickname to be shown. Then the scratch plugin would be shown, which has a discount coupon under the scratch layer. -- Niraj

Thanks all. What Kittsy suggested is what we're hoping to achieve. We don't want to have a scratch off discount coupon, but rather something like a coffee loyalty card where you get "stamped" each time you visit, and get something free after five visits. Cheers.
