Android Push Notifications - Device not registering

Moto110 Aspiring developer Posts: 205 Reg: Jul 26, 2011 Orlando, FL 8,700	confirm \| cancel 05/14/14 11:44 AM (10 years ago) Android Push Notifications - Device not registering My Android app opens and asks me to "Register for Notifications" I select YES the app then displays a message saying that the "Device has been registered" but it never shows up in the BT Control panel as a registered device. I have tried the suggestion on this post and still does not show up. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=56643342D49BA08BDEEB1EF From what I can tell I setup everything correctly in the Android Developer Console and have update the BT control panel with my Project Number and API Key. I also added the Project number in the BT_gcmConfig.java and the AndroidManifest.xml files. Any other thoughts or suggestions? I seem to have everything right yet it still doesn't work. This seems be normal when developing for Android. This is a reminder why I prefer developing for iOS. Congrats on releasing your plugin. Moto110 Aspiring developer Posts: 205 Reg: Jul 26, 2011 Orlando, FL 8,700	05/19/14 01:22 PM (10 years ago) It turns out that the device (Nexus 7 - Gen 1) I was testing with will not register with the BT control panel for Google GCM notification. When I installed the same code on a different device it registered instantly. There were also issues getting notifications to work properly even after getting the device to register.
