Contact Card Plugin and IOS 7

Believe it or not, I just upgraded my phone from IOS 6 to 7. It feels as if I have a new phone and I am still adjusting! I was building an app which using the contact card plug-in and the behaviour under IOS 7 is a bit different. Under IOS 6 it went to a screen that simply asks if I want to create a new contact or add to an existing one, which seems fine to me. On IOS 7, it takes me to a different screen, with empty entries for main, mobile, home, work etc. I don't *think* this is desired behaviour. If I scroll, right at the bottom I see the option to create a new contact or add to an existing one, but it is hidden and I can't see the point of the other(redundant) fields at this point. Is anyone else using this plug-in? Am I still in adjustment to ISO 7 or is this a bug? Alan

Hey Alan, I use this plugin and it works fine for me. Probably a silly question, but do you have the latest version of the plugin?

Not a silly question Leon, I am on version 1.3, which appears to be the latest. Partly this may be a lack of familiarity with the plugin on my part. I've read some threads that talk about transitions, which I didn't see on IOS 6 but I do see now. I've also noticed that the default transition is the only one that allows me to use back all the way to the calling menu. When I use others, the app takes me back to the interim screen but no further.

Transition thing is horrible on that plugin yes, but got that hardcoded away by paying Chris some dollars ;-) Plugin should still work though. Looks very different as it is all white IOS7ish but works. Are you having the probe with a live app or still developing? If live, maybe give it a quick try on a developing app first to narrow in the problem.

I just put a screenshot on dropbox for a while at least, so you can see what I see. Does it look right ? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44302941/contacts_screenshot.png

apart from no data and picture it looks right, yes. I deleted the stuff I didn't need in the code so that I don't see the empty home number space for example if I don't have one.

So if I understand you correctly, in IOS7, the plugin shows the "create a new contact or add to an existing" after all the other (I'd say superfluous) fields? But not on IOS 6.
