I would use at least 5 but this is only my opinion. LA

I use 6.0 for everything, since a lot of plugins use auto layout, only usable in 6.0 and above. You'll have the most amount of devices that are compatible with auto-layout that way

I think they are technically still letting them through... I had 2 apps approved literally yesterday and the day before with a target of 6.0, and 6.0 is still available as a selection in the newest xcode. I could be wrong, maybe my app reviewer just hadn't had his coffee yet and missed it, lol

For me, the iOS 6 app was tersely rejected by the Apple robot automaton a few days ago.

Mine were both brand new apps that were set for 6.0 last week.

Yes finally Apple is approving all the apps using 6.0 and 6.1.
