testing IAP

Hi BTers, is it necessary to actually upload the binary for an app and IAP before you can test the IAP? If so, do I just "reject" the binary immediately after uploading because I'm not ready to submit it yet? Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah, No, you can test in app purchases in the simulator or on your device. It will direct you to create a test account in iTunes connect, where your purchases will just be "play money". No need to upload a binary

Thanks, Angry- I've done that, but still just get the spinning wheel when I try to test on simulator or my phone. I'll check my bundle ID, etc. and then if still not working I'll try Apple...
