Videos not found in new compile

I had some problems with updating an old published app so I redid the whole thing with the lates BT code. All the old problems went away but my videos don't play. They are in an AT53 Video screen and the file locations are given as example.m4v The m4v files are in the BT_Video folder. Yet, in the simulator (I haven't tried a device yet), they do not play and I get the message: r: playMovie 2014-04-10 16:14:35.678 pedophnew[5913:60b] BT_fileManager: File does not exist in Xcode bundle: "rrbruchner.m4v" I even moved this file to the BT_Docs folder but still a no go. Should these video files go somewhere else now? Thanks. Steve

Is your project an ios project? If it is, you might want to convert your video to .mp4 format. That file format seems to work a lot better. That's how I got the videos in my app to play. Hope this helps. Allan

It is ios but the m4v files worked fine in the past. And it seems not to be a problem with compatibility but of not being able to find the files even though they are right there.

Try dragging the videos into your resources folder, and make sure that the checkbox that says copy item into project box is checked. Maybe that will fix it.

If its on self hosted you might have to download update and add the screen again.

I decided to put them offline and have the app grab them from my internet site. I was going to do this anyway so as to streamline the app's size, so I guess this will remain a mystery for a while. Using them offline works. I will try in a few days, once this all gets settled, to move them to resources and see what happens. Thanks again all. Steve

Cool let us know.I think you can also use youtube by putting ss in front of the youtube url then press enter. Then on the right there will be a mp4 download link.just right click on the link and press copy link.see if that link will work. Just an idea
