Android crash on actual device, not on emulator - view log?

I have a 3.0 app with tabs, and two testers have reported a crash when they try to go to a different tab. I cannot reproduce this in my emulator. I created a debug version of the app to give to my testers - is there a crash log from their phone I could retrieve? How could I get more information about this crash from their phone?

Your Log Cat is not producing any data prior to crash and your device is plugged into your machine while you're running the app?

Unless you can get one of your devices to crash, there's not an easy way to get a logcat report from their device. Might want to look at bugsense.com - they have an SDK you can install in your project that will give you this info.

You might also ask them for their device type, OS version, and stuff. I've heard rumblings about certain Android phones in regards to firmware versions as well. It's a moving target! Good Luck! Cheers! -- Smug

I think this one turned out to be the image size I was using in the "menu with image" plugin. I resized them and one of my users says it doesn't crash anymore. Thanks very much for the tips, and thanks Chris1 for suggesting bugsense - I'll check it out!
