Image uploaded plugin....

Pre self hosted days there used to be a (buzztouch supplied - I think) image uploaded plugin. This allowed the user to upload a picture from their phone to a location of your choice. What happened to it??? 😃 Or am j just missing it? Thanks Steve

There was one, yes, but it contained zero security measures as published. Maybe someone else has a new version?

I had somebody ask for this recently. I cannot remember a BT 3 image uploader but I believe there is something for emailing images. Maybe there was something before BT 3, but nothing I could lay my hands on. It would require some host technology to support receiving an upload. The person who asked me ended up using Amazon S3, who provide a library you can use in iApple and/or Android. Hope that helps, Alan

What is the use case for using this type of plugin? It may be something I can create that's a bit more contextualized.

Hey Chris, I have an app for a society that I am a member of. I'm using the macimage gallery that pulls photos from a folder on my web hosting using a php file. I want the users of my app to be able to take photos and upload them to the same folder on my web hosting. At the moment they would have to email them to me and then I would have to copy to my hosting manually (old skool!) This is exactly what I had working when the image upload plugin was available before BT v3 Unless there are better ways? Steve

Gotcha - hard thing about that plugin is it requires a more advanced user who has a server and knows some php. But actually I think my Ultimate Screen Creator plugin may be able to do that already if you have that plugin.

Yes. I have that plugin. How would I utilise that?
