Hello CMCOFFEE I have a question. How (and where) does the plugin save the spots and pictures? Is there a local database? Regards GJ

Yes it does all that.clicking the pin shows the address.ill give a link showinf a pic of that if you want

Does the plugin allow you to add your own made photos, or is it just a screen shot of the map what's been stored.

Its lets you take a picture with the camera or choose one from your phones gallery. It doesnt have a screenshot feature

Ok, i bought the plugin and installed it. I run BT server 2.0 on my own server. When i create a screen with the plugin and click on the screen in the edit panel it won't open the screen. An error occurs. I tested it with 2 other plugins and they work fine. I created several apps already and never had this problem. This is the error Forbidden You don't have permission to access /BT-server/files/plugins/CM_spotFinder/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Any clue?? Regards, Gert-Jan

Well actually I can't get it to work. I made a test project with a splash screen and a spot finder screen. After the splash is gone it loads an empty (white) screen with the name of the spot finder screen. I can't see if I have to use any parameters or do I have to use it in combination with other plugins?

OK i already see what the problem is by looking at the project you sent. it says BTv2 which is the old buzztouch files.I double checked to make sure. Use BTv3 which is core. Ill send a short video.

Well after some good help (thx CMCOFFEE) I managed to get the plugin working. I'm a bit disappointed though. Ok, it does what is says, placing a pin on your current location and you can add a picture to that and some comments as well. But you can only add 1 location and that's it. Of course you can overwrite this location with a new one but what's the use of that. It's probably my fault I was assuming that you could save more locations in some sort of a database. Thats why I asked about the database earlier in this topic. I can't figure out how to add a photo from the library, it only has the possibility to take a picture. The pictures are only shown in landscape and the scaling of the pictures looks a bit strange. So I'm sorry to say but this plugin (for me at least) suggests more than it actually can. Besides all my complaints MCCOFFEE has been very supportive and reacted very fast to all my (sometimes stupid) questions. Maybe you can just give a bit more description of the plugin in the webshop. Looking forward to a new version ;-) Regards, Gert-Jan

There's no stupid questions, I'm always here to help.Yes this plugin is intended for marking one spot only. The ability to choose from the library is only available if the device doesnt have a camera. I do have an update for the landscape and scaling part. I will put a better descriotion along with it.thanks for the feedback!
