But, I've just spotted that the background image that works fine for small devices doesn't work on large devices, where I get a white background instead. The same screen in the same app is fine and shows my background image behind the rows on small devices in the simulator, but not the iPad simulator. Today I found that across a variety of simulators, that if I use IOS 7 I get a white background, if I use IOS 6.1 or below, I get clear. Its the same app in all cases, with the row setting set to clear. I've put a few screenshots into my dropbox to show.
