RD Simple RSS Plugin - Error : Data for this screen has not been downloaded

My RSS feed populates, thumbnails show, but when I click on a row I get a blank screen with the dreaded error: Data for this screen has not yet been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. I think I had this working and I don't know that I changed anything. I have been using my BT hosted to be certain I have the latest of everything. Internet connection is fine. Re-downloaded, cleaned, etc, tried three different feeds, included all the plugins in my app, just in case, makes no difference. Anyone else seeing this please?

@alanmac Any luck with this? I have had no others report this. Can you send me one or two of your feeds?

Hi @Red Dog, many thanks for the offer, email on it's way. Btw, I thought this used to work - I'm sure I played with it successfully when I first set it up a couple of months ago. Cheers, Alan

I tried again, no joy on my BT hosted, but yes, stuck the feeds into a different app and it works on my self hosted!. I usually assume my BT hosted is the best place to test, but not in this case! I can't explain why it would behave differently, but it seems to be the case. I appreciate you testing out those feeds @redgog - does it work OK from your BT host?

Hey Alan. I have the same problem in iOS 6. not iOS 7. If you set a story transition type in your control panel other than default, it will work. But if you leave the transition type as "select or default" it will error out. I am trying to find what was changed in the BT core 3.0 to cause this. Will get back to you if/when I do. Thanks.

I'm pleased you reproduced it. Let me know if I can test anything! Alan

Looks like I am going to have to force a transition as default in the control panel. Do you have a preference for which transition I should use?

I'm still using IOS 6, might not be for much longer though, I'm hearing 7.1 resolves performance issues with 7.0? I suspect the least obtrusive (i.e. which no-one would notice) would be slide? Would the transition default be changeable via the control panel?
