Hi Chris, I just did the update for Webform Generator 3.2, and just had a question regarding an error in my CP that I had in the last version as well (I was hoping the next update would have fixed it, but no such luck). When I check for updates in my self hosted CP, it gives me the current version of webform generator as 3.2 (previous 3.1 obviously), and always says an update is available... current updated version available 1.0 Any idea what might cause that? Is there a MSQL edit that I can make to have it report the correct current version, therefor not saying an update is ready? It should also be noted that when i click the update button, the update fails to download and unzip. I just update it manually through Filezilla. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling after the 3.2 update... but still same issue. Not really a big deal, but I always have one plugin in my control panel marked in red saying update available, even though I'm up to date ;) Thanks! -Dave

Thanks Dave - that was an issue for sure you found! It should be fixed now. But, you'll probably need to reinstall the plugin by first deleting it from your server, refreshing, then reinstalling it.

Hmmm... now my CP says version 1.1 is available, and needs an update. I deleted the old version, refreshed my plugin list, then downloaded the newest Webform plugin by adding new plugin from my buzztouch account.

Try deleting, refreshing, then adding by downloading the self-hosted zip from buzztouch.com and uploading that file to your server. The issue is that there were two plugin packages for this plugin - an old one that didn't use the current standard of starting with the developer's initials (CR_), and the new one that does. I took the old one off the market, but I suspect it's what's linked to your account.

Nope, same result. Like I said, not a big deal... I know it's the current version ;)

Heres my install and update URL's in the config.txt file if it helps debug. Notice the update url points to a file that says v1.1: updateURL: https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/update.php?pid=36F776C29A2E6BB75B4F6AF downloadURL: https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/download.php?pid=36F776C29A2E6BB75B4F6AF Looks like it's pointing to the old version for some reason, even though i nuked it and reinstalled the new package manually, which is strange because the same file (config.txt) reflects the updated version of 3.2 on the versionNumber line

When you deleted it, what folder did you delete? There might be two - one with the CR_ prefix and one without.

It was cr_webform_generator. I looked, and dont have one without the cr prefix in my directory

Weird - might have to actually delete the entry from the MySQL database in the bt_plugins table.

Once I remove the plugin, no matches found on a MSQL database search for "webform" (as it should be). Just reinstalled again, same result... Current Version: 3.2 v1.1 Available download and install As long as it's just me, no worries. Doesn't it get the possibility of an upgrade from the updateurl in config.txt? The only thing on my end that would affect that is if my updateurl is wrong in that file. Is the url I listed above correct? When I go to that url, it does in fact report the update as version v1.1 and not v3.2

That's the old URL. I'll have to do some more investigating.
