I'm afraid to say that tomorrow is likely to see nobody attend the Oxford meet. This will make it two times in a row that there will have been a cancelled meetup. And it's a real shame. I do understand that people sometimes cannot attend meetups, and that's alright, but this seems to be a continuing pattern. I try very hard to get attendees. Something for the meetup is going to have to change. I have an idea to propose, which will be 'European webinar'. This, surprisingly, will be aimed at European users. I think the sea with this will make it more flexible and a lot more convenient for people. Also, I'm trying to extend the number of potential users. I would like to start this next week, and maybe have this as a monthly occurring event. Just an idea. Tell me your ideas or whether you like them! Hey, regarding your Oxford meetings, you should try having them on weekends. It's hard to attend during the week. Especially if you're not from Oxford. Cheers.

Weekends have been the hot topic lately. I am trying to work out how to get weekends meetups running. But in the meantime, I just want to start up a European webinar.

Do you use meetup.com for setting these up?

Thomas if it wasn't pure moons away and 4 PM on weekday I'd love to come to more. I will happily attend any Euro Webinar, needs to be a strict door policy if they haven't got an EU passport not coming in.

Follow the Boy Scouts. They meet on Mondays. That particular day is the least occupied at 6 or 7 PM for most people. Try weekends also, as MadRod suggested. EuroBuzz needs a logo! Oh Thomas .... :-) Meet in a pub -- we know Kittsy will dash over

I think this is a great idea Thomas. I am bemused by the fact that you Brits don’t see yourselves as being European users but that’s another story ;-)) As per my previous post on your other thread on this subject, this coming week is Carnival here in “Europe” so Thursday evening is not going to be a good time. I will certainly look out for the next European meet up though so keep us posted!
