Anyone interested in developing a custom plugin?

I am building an events app, and I need a plugin that is a little more specialized. I need the plugin to: - Search for events by date or date range - Search for events by name - Limit date and/or name search to a particular event category - Allow events to automatically delete once the event date has passed - Allow for the use of other Buzztouch plugins with the event listings If anyone is interested, please email me for additional information and pricing. Thanks in advance! (-:. I am a graphic designer/web developer by trade, and a coding newbie. This is a bit beyond my coding abilities at the present time.

I would definitely be interesting in this plugin... however I dont have the time to jumo into the coding. Chris1 is a great resource. I'm sure he could do this in no time.

I had already thought of Chris too, but when I looked at some of the posts I saw others had recently inquired about him doing work for them, and he was unavailable at the time. He could probably do this with his eyes closed, and in no time at all! Wish I had half his skill! Lol!

Would the events plugin be getting the data from a different server than a BuzzTouch server? That would be my recommendation to allow for easy content updates. Did you want the Event plugin to add an event into the person's calendar on the mobile device? Do you have a design for what the plugin's screens would look like? What is the interaction between the screens of the plugin? Questions, questions ... :-) -- Niraj

I was actually looking at HostGator basic hosting plan for a server, though I am not really sure how to integrate Buzztouch with a self-hosting plan (I'm kind of learning as I go). - I would like the plugin to add an event into the persons calendar on the device. - The app will first load the splash screen which when tapped, will first go to a menu which will include various items and a "Find Events" link that goes straight to the custom plugin. The plugins first screen will consist of a drop-down menu with the event categories (i.e. Music Events, Fairs & Festivals, Pet Events and a selection to see the listings for all event categories) and the heading "Please Choose Event Category". Directly beneath this will be the "Please Choose Event date(s)" date range fields in which the user will able to choose the month, day(s) and year (year range will only consist of the current year and the following year) to narrow the event search to certain dates, or none if they choose to see all listings for a particularly category. I would like to be able to add a logo and background image as design features of this screen. The user would then hit the "Let's Go!" button to proceed to the next screen. - The next screen will be a simple listing of the Event Names and Dates. I would like the events in the listing to be sorted by date range if more than one date is selected or alphabetically by event name if only one date is selected. the design features will be the same as the first page (the ability to add a background image and a header image). The event names in the listing will be links that the user can click to bring up a full page with the event description and other pertinent information. I would like to be able to use plugins like the "send email" and "location map" for these pages. I was thinking of doing the event detail pages in html, but I am not sure if I will be able to add the email and location map plugins to these pages. Any thoughts? Thank you Niraj! P.S. Questions, questions is how things get done so ask away! I'm sure I've overlooked a lot of needed info since I am new to apps!
