Android 3.0 push self hosted

Does anyone in this community have android push notifications working with BT 3.0? Please respond so I can get direct help. I can not imagine why this is not working. I need someone to talk to direct with answers. This should totally work but if it is a problem I need to know that everyone is having issues. Joe

Even i never tried BT's push notifications in any of my android apps. Most of my apps have scringo in it so i do it form scringo. Have you checked this document on How To's section? I think its for BT 2.0 but you might get some clue there. Link- http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/HowToAndroidPushWithGCMForBuzzTouchPush.pdf

Scringo.. that's something I havent used for Push yet, always been happy with Parse. I did get push to work for old android, but that new core changed a few things so not sure it that guide would work anymore. Keep us updated and best of luck! David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

I have read all documentation @sandeep but it is a no go. I am curious about scringo. can i install scringo and not have the scringo social media aspect functioning. ? Can I use scringo and only use the push aspect rather than displaying the sdk functions? Thanks

No you cannot have only the push notification function using scringo sdk. I think you can try parse as Mr. David suggests.

Let us know if you need help with that. Parse has pretty straightforward tutorials, and there are a few in the how-to I believe, shouldnt be too hard. it's the certificates that are always the harder part, rather than the code. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

I am using the push for android... Try this, in BT_gcmIntentService in the generateNotification method replace notificationManager.notify(); with notificationManager.notify(1, builder.build()); and delete notificationManager.notify(0, notification);
