Embed spreadsheet apps in a buzztouch app

Hi I am a total newbie with apps. I have done HTML and in the past bits of basic, and assembler / machine code - all a long time ago.And I am now flummoxed with apps I work for an engineering company who manufacture U-bolts and pipe support systems. We sell online and we also have u-bolt filters on our website and we have an online quoting tool. Enough of the background, and to the nitty gritty, we are looking to put our u-bolt selector and quoting tool into an app (starting with Android, moving on to ios later) I have used a couple of online "app" creators, that are fine for very basic stuff, but our quoting tool and filter tool are both based on spread sheets. The spreadsheets are quite advanced using drop down filters for the filter tool, and the quoting tool uses lookups and a submission form which emails the data to us We have a system called "spreadsheetconvertor" <a href="http://www.spreadsheetconverter.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.spreadsheetconverter.com/</a> which converts the quoting spreadsheet into an html web page and supporting files which I can upload to a server and provide the link for customers to work. But we really want it to be an app so it can be used off-line Spreadsheet convertor can create apps, so it says, but documentation is not good. Does anyone know how / if I can somehow add that code to a buzztouch app? So I would create one app in buzztouch as a menu system and general support and information. From within that, I would link in these quoting apps The apps that the spreadsheet convertor creates contains an html index file, some images, an assets folder, and a .git folder Any thoughts from all that? Hello Ron, You may try this other tool as suggested by Warren on this posting: http://buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=FE316A4C33E25F6DFCDC44E http://www.webworksheet.com/ Take the resulting files from that WebWorksheet tool and include them into the BuzzTouch project to be used by the HTML Plugin. Alternatively, publish those files onto a Web Server and use the URL plugin to bring that "spreadsheet web page" into your BuzzTouch app. Let us know how you get along! -- Niraj

Thanks for the reply. If I use the URL system would that mean then the feature could only be used online or can we force local caching on the app?

The HTML Plugin will allow you to be offline. The URL Plugin requires you to be online, there is no caching. - Niraj
