splash screen doesn't show and freezes app

stevek Aspiring developer Posts: 808 Reg: Dec 24, 2011 great neck 8,080	confirm \| cancel 11/03/13 03:43 PM (12 years ago) splash screen doesn't show and freezes app I decided to add a splash screen to an already compiled app. I added to the screens a new screen with nickname splash and type splashscreen and made the background image a png that is in my images folder. I went to global themes, clicked and got the default theme and clicked on the splashscreen entry and put in my screen nickname splash. Ran the app on the simulator and not only does the screen not show, but the home screen comes up and the app freezes. Wont do anything. If I go back and delete the splashscreen from the themes, app works. What am I doing wrong?
