Segmented Control button

Hi, Not sure if this is the right spot for this, let me know if it isn't. I am creating a screen in Xcode for an app, and have several questions the user needs to choose an answer for. The majority are need a yes/no response and the others are just numbers and dates. For the yes/no questions, would a segmented control button with yes and no work for the purpose? Thanks, Jeremy

Typically it would work fine. I use one in my 'SmugMsgLoc' to allow the user to choose between 'email' and 'sms'. I will say however, that in iOS 7 there seems to be interference from the accelerometer, and that may affect your work. I'm sure it will be addressed in BT/iOS v3, but at the moment I can't say. But the short answer is 'yes'. or an 'on/off' switch would work as well. Cheers! -- Smug

Hey Smug, Just out of curiosity, how does the accelerometer interfere with it? On/Off switch being the one just called 'switch' in Xcode right? Thanks, Jeremy

I don't have an iOS 7 device, I don't have Xcode 5 installed on my platform yet. I've only heard this from another user. I'm chomping at the bit for my next app approval so I can finish out 'this edition' and update everything. On/Off switch is just called 'switch'. Correct. Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Smug, I know you don't have Xcode 5 and you said your not so good at storyboards, but do you know how i would go for putting the code in that if it is set to 'A' then label1.text = 'xxx' and if its set to 'B' then label1.text = 'xyz'? Thanks, Jeremy
