It stops but doesn’t disappear. I’ve done something silly for sure but can’t figure it out. Anyone to the rescue? Derval by the looks of it you are loading text hard coded, I would say it doesn't need the spinner at all to be honest even if it's loading it won't take that long. I am following David’s webinar from last year “Let’s build a Plug-in”. He didn’t use this line of code so I suspect I’ve got something else a bit cuckoo. Anyway the important thing is that for now it works! Thanks very much @kittsy! @smugwimp - thanks anyway. It’s an iOS project as @Kittsy mentioned. Judging by the dismal number of downloads I’ve had on Android, I’m going to concentrate my efforts on iOS. Comments [spinner setHidden:true]; worked by changing the syntax slightly.
