Paypal to my app

Hi again all. I have seen several forum posts about using paypal for ecommerce types things within an app but not much info on if it will work and how. My issue is I have a friend who is a personal trainer and wants me to build an app for him. He wants to be able for customers to pay their monthly fee through the app.

You mean link a button to the page to link to the paypal url? I thought I seen this in the forum. I will read up more on this. Thank you.

Yes, I mean, create a html page, that has a paypal button (paypal helps you create a paypal button). Bare in mind, that if it's an IOS app, apple will not allow any payments, that could be made with them. In your case, I think it will be ok.

Here's the issue with getting approved with Apple: You can not have the PayPal function going on in your app. It MUST be done outside the app. So... You can have a link to pay with PayPal only if it opens in a new mobile Safari browser window. You'll be good then. Source: I have a PayPal Donate menu item in one of my approved Buzztouch Apple apps that works this way (I link to PayPal from a menu item).

Use the "Launch Native App" screen. You can set the specific URL you need in there.
