**Solved**(thanks)Newb cannot integrate revmob or any ad sdk with tutorials

Greetings everyone, I am a complete beginner with absolutely no knowledge or understanding of java or anything else trying with this guide by Elaine(thanks) <a href="http://thechocolatelabapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/How-to-integrate-revmob-by-Elaine.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://thechocolatelabapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/How-to-integrate-revmob-by-Elaine.pdf</a> I can get far enough that I complete all steps without red X's but then the app wont run, gives error message I would guess none of it is right rather than most of it, Does anyone have any other copy of a exact step by step tutorial, with no assumptions of script knowledge? thanks anyone for any help, your contributions on other pages got me this far from scratch so thanks very much

Hello delite, Welcome to BT. The tutorial you are referring to is very old one (at least a year old). Lot of things have changed since then. The revmob is not a good source to monetize android apps anymore. There are many other ad services which pay a lot better than revmob. For instance admob, airpush and applovin. I always trust admob ad service and the ecpm rate is not bad at all. The income generated through admob is consistent and its very important thing when you try different ad services. There is a tutorial for integrating admob in android app which you can find in the following link. This tutorial is the latest one so you will have no issues with integrating it in your project- http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/New%20Admob%20integration%20for%20Android.pdf Airpush was one of the best ad network that i found in my journey of app making. It generated revenue like no other ad network (sometimes the income was 2-3 times more even than admob). But since the change in googles ad policy, the push notification and icon ads have banned and the new airpush sdk is not so fruitful anymore. The income generated now a days is similar as admob. There is a tutorial i had written long time back about it which you can find it in the following link but you have to refer to the documentation provided with the sdk to make necessary changes. There is not much change though in the old style of implementation and the new one... - http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/AirpushTutorial.pdf Applovin is a good network coz its having clean sdk since start and it has integration very simple. You can refer to documentation in your dashboard. Its really very simple. I have not written any tutorial for it though. I have tried many ad networks but i prefer the above mentioned 3 ad networks over any other networks for android apps. Hope you find these links helpful.
